Sultan cymbals combine the brilliance of the Traditional series with the dry, dark sound of the Turk cymbals. The untreated bell produces a loud, rough sound, the untreated bow area reduces harmonics and shortens sustain. The bottom of the Sultan plates is not turned downwards. This results in a sweet sound with great stick definition and controlled harmonics.
